Problem with Kali linux after apt-get upgrade?
Good afternoon!
There is a vbox with Kali Linux installed on board.
After a recent apt-get update & upgrade, something went wrong, and apparently it got crooked or did not get up at all.
Now it is not possible to get into the car, and the situation is as in the video.
Video
Loader loads normally, and then just a black screen.
Googling didn't turn up much of an answer. Tell me how you can restore the machine? There are configured scripts and the files I need, rearranging everything again is a nightmare.
UPD:
Reason: The computer went to sleep, the packages were not installed during the update
Solution:
1. We go into console mode
2. As Sergey advised , we do apt-get autoremove
I got the message "something cannot be done there, do it manually dpkg --configure -a"
3. Enter dpkg --configure -a
We get the message "what to do with packages, there are different options"
I chose to install the suggested packages, enter y
4 Went the process of installing packages
5. After the reboot, everything worked.
