There is a web socket server made with expresso socket.io. I installed an SSL certificate ... everything works fine, but when the android application is connected to the server, it will return such an error Server doesn't send response to client under SSL
If I understand correctly, the server does not send a response to the client under SSL. How to fix this?
When connecting to the server, do I need to do something? Or is the android not connecting correctly?
He removed the SSL check when connecting and it works fine ... but I think this is not a good option, is it?

What do you mean everything is working properly? How was the connection tested without the participation of the application?
Here, amritb.github.io/socketio-client-tool - you need to try to connect to the socket via https and send messages. If, really, everything is OK, then there are already questions for the application.
