Hey Habr!
Faced with a subject. Received a card - deposited money. I receive an extract through the Internet. Everything is fine. But I can’t link to PayPal - every time I see “ Invalid type of debit or credit card. ”. I called the bank support, they said that since May you can use the Maestro via the Internet, so there should be no problems with the software. I wrote in the PP - so far they are silent. Taking this moment, I wanted to ask if anyone has encountered such a problem and how it was solved.

Maestro is not available on PayPal. Regular Mastercard - you can.

At first, I also suffered with mastercard, maestro, etc.
The solution is simple - use VISA. If there is none, then you can issue a virtual VISA card for online payments, which is issued by the bank without any problems. Or register on QIWI.ru and issue a card there, linking it to a cell phone number and a real card.

Usually, when opening an account, they give an entry-level card for free, which may not work on the Internet, abroad, etc. This is Visa electron or Maestro.
If nothing works out at all, just make an additional Visa classic card in your bank. Come to the bank and say: "I want an additional Visa classic card to the existing one." Usually you will have to pay 50-100 UAH for it one time.

Here a person writes that VISA Classic of the same bank has become attached to him. I did not find any more mentions of your bank on ebay-forum.ru .
