Problem compiling linux kernel?

Hello. I have Fedora 16. I decided to build linux kernel 3.0.7 and patch it. I run the make menuconfig command and get:

/usr/include/ncurses.h:96:26: ошибка: both «unsigned» and «_Bool» in declaration specifiers<br/>

What could be the problem? Didn't find anything using google search :(

Are ncurses and ncurses-devel worth it? Also try other configuration methods: make nconfig, make gconfig or make xconfig.

I found this by searching on Google ,
check the actual versions - all of a sudden, this is the real problem
