Preparation for layout, checklist. What else?
Hi, friend.
For me, the comfort of the layout designer is important. I am a beginner web designer.
Sometimes, you know, it happens that when working in another field, you look after representatives of some profession and think: "What the hell? Well, in such an interesting niche, such a poor quality?" But the post is not about that :)
I read all sorts of articles, watched different videos, I wanted to understand how to simplify the life of a layout designer as much as possible, to make such conditions that there would be a minimum of edits and flaws. I drew the first layout without a grid at all, with a rectangle, and then for a long time I assured the layout designer that he was a cretin :))<teg>ЭТО МЫ ЕЩЕ ПОСМОТРИМ </shmeg>
I want to list my check sheet, as I prepare a layout for a typesetter. What did I forget? What to add / improve / what else to pay attention to? What annoys you about designers? What annoys you about design? Would it help if the designer knew the basics of CSS and HTML in development speed?
List:
1) I create a project folder
2) I keep the indents the same everywhere, I draw on the grid. It's about content.
3) I draw 3 types of layouts. I sort them into folders: "for PC, for tablet, for smartphone". I upload the appropriate layouts to each folder.
4) I make a separate file in PSD, which shows all options for headings and text, document and text colors, line spacing, buttons, forms click, if necessary, I drop a link to the site, with some kind of animation that could be used, if there are any pop-ups, I also draw them, write a comment, in which part of the screen they should pop up, whether the background should fade, etc. e)
5) I fill the fonts used in the layout into the "fonts" folder, archives
6) I make the elements that require clarity in SVG, the rest in Jpg.
7) I also upload all SVGs and pictures into one folder (I didn’t quite understand what “including options for retina” means in one of the answers insimilar post )
8) I discuss the effects: "here this block should float smoothly like this" (I give a link to the site.)
9) In the layout I follow the following rules:
- remove unnecessary guides
- remove unnecessary hidden elements
- split into blocks: header, footer, content: block 1, block 2, block 3, window 1, window 2, application form, etc. I give names in Russian. Better in English?
- respect the hierarchy of layers.
What did I forget? Are there facepalms in the above? What didn't you learn? How can it be better? What life hacks?

Fedor
$text = 'Как из этого {\"button\":\"\\\/-28484-2.1 здесь\"} получить /-28484-2.1 здесь';
$text = preg_match('~-[^"\\\]+~', $text, $match) ? $match[0] : '';
echo $text;
Lord, let such designers be fruitful and multiply!
And now to the point.
1) It is better to give names in English.
2) Do not abuse the number of fonts - two or three will be enough (Font for text, font for headings, intricately designed font for signature under the logo or other decorations)
3) Be at least a little aware of what can be made up and what is not - for example, color headings with a gradient or an image - you can implement it in css, but it will only work in Chrome.
4) Do not crop pictures making them round - use overlap masks or something like that, there are no circles in the layout, only rectangles and a square as a special case of a rectangle, but you can visually make a picture round and say with a border you can use styles - while the image source will be a square or a rectangle .
5) Using shadows to make them separate from images.
6) Draw form elements without fanaticism and try to leave them as they are rendered by the browser, this mainly concerns checkboxes / radio buttons of drop-down lists, they can be styled, but so far these are such crutches and crap that it already burns, and then burns with backend workers, because they have to implement all this through the ass.
7) Before drawing some kind of supermega cool beautiful little thing, ask the layout designer (if possible) if he can implement it.
