Prefabricated (custom, barebone) laptops for self-upgrade?

Greetings!
Maybe someone understands: are there custom laptops for self-assembly of components in them, like Clevo (or Clevo-Sager), only cheaper?
The idea is to have a "bare chassis" (barebone base-case), and all the other components will be upgraded and replaced over time. Here it would be desirable to find not expensive chassis, for the adequate price.
