Please recommend a monitor

Good day to all. Advise, please, a monitor for the artist. The main direction of work is color correction, raster graphics. Those. color rendering is critical. A VGA output is required. HDMI - not important, but welcome. Any additional goodies in the form of USB, wall mounts, etc. - non-critical. Diagonal - from 21 inches, preferably 23. Required - wide screen. Budget — $250

I'm not an artist, but still. I use the LG W2443S monitor . Great monitor, has been running like clockwork for a couple of years now. Bought for a little less than $200. Monitor 24".

21 "and more must be connected via digital DVI, the VGA output, by its nature, analog colors will be distorted, and what good can begin to be smeared at sharp transitions.
In my practice, the effect on the cable to the monitor of magnetic fields was also noticed, as well as the effect its spatial position on the picture up to the breakdown of horizontal synchronization - it crawled out into the visible image area.If even such "little things" affect the image, then what can we talk about high-quality color reproduction?

I won't recommend a monitor, but I would recommend purchasing a calibrator (or finding where you can calibrate your monitor after purchase). Especially, spruce is planned to be engaged in color correction.
And, as far as I know, people who do color grading professionally (for example, in film production) use monitors that won’t fit into your budget.

Benq 2430, it is MVA, with even illumination and no crystal effect, it does not mirror.
