It's not a website, it's PPC. Sorry.

The site is terrible! I made such sites in the 2000s on narod.ru.
I think to the developer to convey something like this: “Give the money back to the nerd!”

@butteff

No, stop throwing yourself at the developer.
I am sure that a window manufacturing company did not want to pay 30-50 thousand for a normal site, found a freelance school student, paid a miserable penny.
Attention to the question, what did you expect to see for this money?
Unique design, development team, web development, ajax and jacquery?

As for the quality of the site as a whole, you were told above. It will not leave the visitor with the best impression of the company and is able to undermine any credibility to it.
A few small things that could be done better (do not solve the main problem of the site):
1. There is no explicit link to the main page. Usually the logo is made a link to the main one, but here you need to guess that by clicking on “About the Company” you will be taken to the main page
2. On the main page, it would be more correct to separate the pictures of the types of services from their names. Those. make the names text. This will make the site a little easier + help with promotion
3. Change the background image. Either abandon it altogether, or make it closer to the theme of the site. In this photo I do not see an emphasis on plastic windows. In addition, on a wide monitor, the background image is cropped. You can make it wider (with the expectation of wide monitors) and align it to the center of the page
4. Yellow is too “poisonous” in my opinion
5. The inscription “OKNA-ITS © 2010” is not visible from the bottom due to the color of the font merging with the background
6. Indentation the top is too big. It doesn't make sense. Apparently the creator wanted to show the windows in the building, but it happened at the expense of convenience.

As for the design of the site, everyone has already said everything. I can only modestly join in calling this site a crime against humanity.
And here are the main characters! www.sunvay.ru/
Only in an even more minimalist style. They limited themselves to a standard joomla stub :-D
Judging by the soap that their domain is registered to, the guy used to look for a job as a supplier, but decided that web design was his element!
Since such a booze has gone, can I ask a question that has been tormenting me for many months?
Dear KriegeR, could you ask your sister what they were guided by when they ordered a website from some sunway? (By the way, I don’t know what vay is ... they probably wanted to be called the sunny way, but knowledge of English corresponds to website building skills)
Does the company really not understand that the site is a powerful tool for attracting new customers and part of the company's image? The site is made not for show but for profit.
Is it really not clear that having bought such a shit site for 1,2,3, or 5 thousand rubles, there will be no sense? Only negative attitude! It is better not to make a website at all than to order one.
I will be glad if I get an answer to at least one of the questions.
By the way, about where to order the site, I wrote in a personal.

Instead of this “site”, if the budget is severely cut, look better in the direction of site builders (for example, www.reg.ru/service/plesk_sitebuilder )

change not only the hosting, but also the CMS and the developer.
a site of this size costs 8 thousand, no more.

div class="art-sheet-tl"
This is a template from Artister, where all the CSS is prefixed with art- .
Total bullshit, sorry. Even in Artie, with proper skill and subsequent finishing, you can make a good design.

For such purposes, IMHO, it is better to use solutions for creating corporate websites, combined with the placement of services and products in the catalog.
From Russian, I can name, for example, the following:
There is a completely free placement (up to 50 products / services), paid placement allows you to customize the template, increases the number of products and some other features:
www.salemarket.ru
site example: grandex.salemarket.ru/
The first month is free, all the possibilities, then from 10,000 a year like:
www.tiu.ru
site example: doktorokon.tiu.ru/
The first two months are free, then paid, I don’t remember how much
pulscen.ru
site example: doka-m.pulscen .ru/
When using one of the indicated solutions, you will get a pretty cheap or even free decent website at the end + you will not need to worry about hosting, administration, etc.
If you do not like a third-level domain, then it seems that all the indicated options have the ability to fasten your second-level domain.

www.okna-its.ru/index1.php - this should not be
www.okna-its.ru/index.php?option=com_content1 - which component? What are you talking about? To the client to shit on components, the sane description of an error should be.
It would be nice to embed the map into the site.
But there is a beautiful gallery =)

looks disgusting. plus a ton of heavy pictures, especially the background.
Well, such a picture should not weigh 150+ kb:

Of this, only the map should be left and saved not in 200+ kb JPEG, but in PNG

I think the partners of this company (which are at least listed on the page http://www.okna-its.ru/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=26&Itemid=27 ) will be "delighted" with such a colleague -))

I made the site lesprom-okna.ru/
For 7 thousand rubles according to the template, but I redrawn the header.
In short, made with all their wishes.
I mean, can you find a ready-made template and make a website based on it?
It will be easier and prettier, this is my IMHO.

My opinion is a small-town site, rural graphics, incomprehensible layout. Such sites are made for schools in sparsely populated cities, for free.

Stick a fork in a designer’s eye, chop off a layout designer’s hand, the programmer will understand everything himself (if he was there)

F
FenixDeveloper, 2011-06-24
@FenixDeveloper

Oh my gosh... The developer has nothing to convey here, tell yourself that the site is not a roll of toilet paper, you need to lay a normal budget and look for good performers if you really need it. Or, as already mentioned here, use a website builder - this is an ideal solution for the first time.

1) A lot of space is used for other purposes, a piece of white background on the right, on the left is some kind of completely incomprehensible building.
2) Damn flush on the main page in the header, what the hell is not needed.
3) Raise the site up so that all types of windows can be seen, now I only fit the first two rows.
4) The blue color on the site is deadly irritating to my eye.

E
elgoog, 2011-06-24
@elgoog

And I wouldn’t worry about the design and convenience of the site at all.
Leave everything as it is. Don't change hosting. All OK.
Lay out:
1) competitive prices - on each page a link to the price. under each photo - what - how much it cost.
2) reviews about you
Make it so that people come to you on search / advertising, make sure that there are good reviews about you on the Internet.
The design of the site in your case, it seems to me, does not play any role at all. People will come to your site based on search traffic, and not because of the design of the site. They will stay on it only because of the prices,
and not because of the design of the site. people will buy from you because of your competitiveness, not because of the design of the site.
Good design and usability will not keep your visitor on the site, only prices. Well, just imagine: you are for them for everyone (if they miraculously came to you at all) - just one of hundreds of sites. So they will look at how the PRODUCT looks and how much it costs. Most likely they will just click on the price list. Where everything should be VERY simply written. If you can do it, make a calculator for calculations. This is maximum.
The work plan is as follows:
1) fix my comments (1% of the time and costs)
2) website promotion (99% of the time and costs)
ps
hello neighbors!

I agree with the above negative reviews about the site. God be with her, layout. But simply not picking up a color scheme, but peeling out the most terrible combinations is anti-design and killing the brain. Here even 3000 rubles does not smell.

Pass that site to HS. UG everywhere you look. If there is a normal budget, not 3000r. I can recommend the studio.
