Good day, dear habrausers. There is a need to create a text file and write several lines into it. The file encoding must be UCS-2. Tried a lot of things, nothing worked. Help me please.

Try the iconv() function : www.php.net/manual/en/function.iconv.php . With hemorrhoids with encodings helps.

There is no concept of "file encoding", what data you write there in that encoding they will be.
Describe the task in more detail.
