php/mysql book
I am looking for a good book on php and mysql (preferably 2 books separately)
I searched for questions - as a result, all questions come down to books
Learning PHP and MySQL, 2nd edition and PHP. Programming Objects, Patterns, and Techniques
These books are, well, I don't even know... easy enough to understand. I'm more interested in something higher level. Something like a "gang of four", where everything in a fairly professional language is laid out on the shelves.
I am currently reading
MySQL. Performance Optimization, 2nd Edition
Particularly interested in building highly loaded systems.

Zandstra (book number 2) perfectly discloses all aspects of OOP + chewed templates + basic UML diagrams. Highly recommend, especially if you had little experience in OOP before
