Photoshop throws an error when opening standard png jpeg images?

I have already tried to zip the folder and unzip it back. There are no restrictions in the folder (only reading or there is only access) - everything is fine. Regular png jpeg pictures. There are over 1200 images in the folder. Some opens photoshop, but most pops up an error. I checked all the folders, every picture, I did not find any restrictions. What could be the problem?
