Photoshop alternative in Ubuntu for front-end developer?

Dear Harbaryans, please tell me what can be used instead of Photoshop to cut the layout? (preferably under Ubuntu).
Thank you very much in advance! :)

As an option - Photoshop under Wine (slow and buggy).
There are no alternatives, photoshop is one of a kind. Even GIMP, with which it is often compared, is no match for it.

Adobe introduced Project Parfait back in the summer, now it's called Creative Cloud Extract, available through an account in Creative Clouds, here's a description from the site .
Well, there is a cross-platform Brackets, which can be downloaded with Extract already installed.
There is one "but": you can only extract data, cut layouts, and you won't be able to edit them.

PlayOnLinux, a thing that works on top of Wine. Allows you to painlessly run Photoshop CS6, I have it, the flight is normal.

GIMP, or run Photoshop for Windows via Wine (didn't try it myself).
