Phone with WP8 makes sounds, how to find out the reason?

There is a Samsung Ativ S phone, firmware WP8 GDR3.
From time to time ~ several times a day it makes some strange sounds, a la notification. There are no notifications on the screen. There is no such melody in the system sounds.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How to find out who is responsible for this?
