Pervasive advertising from Megafon
Initial data: Megafon, Nokia 6021. From time to time, an advertising text or the beginning of an anecdote appears on the phone screen; after the text - postscript "(15 rubles)". One has only to press, roughly speaking, "OK" - so a request is immediately sent somewhere and at least 15 rubles are debited from the account. I did not find any pattern in the occurrence of this advertisement, but it appears at the most unexpected moment and, like any advertisement, is very annoying.
Question: what is it and what, in fact, the devil is happening?

MegaFon does not have the Chameleon service.
moscow.megafon.ru/services/joy/kalejodoskop.html
The service is called "Kaleidoscope" and is disabled through the device's SIM menu:
MegaFonPro - Kaleidoscope - Settings - Broadcasting - Disable
Turn off the chameleon service.
Something else worries me. The fucking bullhorn makes it his duty to wish me a pleasant journey and greet me back home when crossing the borders of the regions. I cross it at least twice a day, sometimes 4-6 a day (I live on the border of the regions, just like that), it’s so annoying, especially when driving. Calls to the subscriber service were unsuccessful, they swear that they turned off “SMS informing” for me, advertising SMS should have disappeared along with greetings, but neither one nor the other has disappeared for a month already, blah.
if my memory serves me right, this service is turned off by a call to the support service,
but it works, if, again, memory serves me, by cells, ideally it should have worked like this: you drive past McDonald's, and then the phone tells you “Come in OstapBender, at McDonald's you have a 99% discount", but since, as usual, our companies do not bother honing their services, they made jokes for 15 rubles))
Tell me, at the same time, how to make it so that after installing the Megafon SIM card, it does not reset the Internet connection settings in the phone? Very tired!
I have an old modification of WD TV Live, without WiFi yet - I have not met such an HD file that would not go on this piece of iron. Now they have built-in WiFi. Should come up. And for a price like that.
I have an Iconbit HDS7L.

In principle, he beats his 3K. 1080p remixes from x264 are OK. No built-in WiFi. Popular whistles on it start up without problems, but at the same time they heat up inhumanly and after 3-4 days of continuous use they can hang.
There are 2x USB 2.0, 1x eSATA.
Well, and many thousands of alternative firmware for those who like to make a space shuttle with garlands from the player :)
From the video - it does not support only files with GMC (Global motion compensation)
I took this https://market.yandex.ru/model.xml?modelid=6053544&hid=4165204
ASUS O!Play AIR HDP-R3
Reads everything, movies from the computer via wi-fi (built-in) shows, external hdd is connected, there are unofficial software modules for it, which open additional. features (youtube, online cinemas, etc.) moServices
I bought a Digma HDMP-301 for my parents (something around 2700r.)
There is no built-in Wi-Fi, but it plows through certain models of USB Wi-Fi hardware (there is a footnote on this at the bottom of the page ).
My Iconbit Toucan W reproduces everything that I have seen so far, in the forums they write about it that multi-channel sound does not work, I did not check it, there was no need. It is slightly more expensive than 5 tr. If there is less Iconbit Nano. I like that it is a full-fledged media center. With browser, online radio, etc. If something is missing, it is delivered from the market.
I bought a lot of such pieces of iron ... I would advise Dune TV301W. IMHO the best solution.
If it's still relevant, then you can look at BlueTimes Eva Vision . Yesterday I bought it for myself, I plan to post a review of this media player on Habré in the near future. The price is really more than 5k.
