Performance ultrabook under $2000?

Background:
Two years ago I bought Asus N551JM in the maximum configuration ( Yandex.Market ).
Everything was fine with the laptop, except for the weight (2.7 kg + power adapter), size and build quality (the display frames moved away, the display casing is loose, the display itself staggers on hinges, the display cover on the outside noticeably bulges at the slightest impact). At that time, the hardware was top-end (Intel Core i7-4710HQ / 16GB DDR3L RAM / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 2GB / 4GB), the keyboard, touchpad and sound are wonderful.
But lately, you should always take a laptop with you, and there is no point in considering such a heavy carcass (more than 3.5 kg with an adapter, a mouse, etc.), which can simply fall apart at any moment.

You must select a working machine that meets the following criteria:

• Low weight (up to 2 kg);
  
• Modern and productive iron;
  
• Long battery life;
  
• Good display, comfortable keyboard and touchpad;
  
• Good build;
  

I plan to take a laptop (ultrabook) for 3-4 years, so in terms of price there is a limit of $ 2000 (120 thousand rubles).

At the moment I'm using Ubuntu 17.04, Windows 10 in dual boot.

Autodesk Inventor, OpenSCAD, Eclipse IDE (C/C++, Java, Python), Sublime Text 3, XAMPP, MPIDE (PIC microcontrollers), FileZilla, PuTTY, BitTorrent, Gimp, Inkscape, Adobe Photoshop, LightRoom/DarkTable, Blender , Sony Vegas, Telegram, Google Music, Skype, Google Chrome, Eagle (PCB design), Repetier Host (3D printer control), Microsoft Office/Libre Office, etc.
Main areas of work: Web development, application programming, microcontroller programming, 3D modeling, design of technically complex devices, graphic design, sometimes photo and video processing, and so on, little things.

Ideally - 13-14", but if there is a decent option with discrete graphics for 15" and a weight not much exceeding 2 kg, you can consider it.

Notebook Options

Как вариант - MacBook Pro 15 2017 года выпуска (Яндекс.Маркет), но в нем не нравится тачбар (не думаю, что он приживется; сам пробовал, не понравилось), а также не уверен, что в плане OS мне он подойдет (прочитал очень много статей на тему MacOS, изучил как положительные, так и отрицательные стороны, но все равно не уверен. Сценарий моего взаимодействия с ПК описан ниже).
Или более портативный, но менее производительный MacBook Pro 13 2017 года выпуска [кастом - 16GB RAM, Intel Core i7] (МВидео).
Также рассматриваю Lenovo THINKPAD X1 Carbon Ultrabook (5th Gen) (Яндекс.Маркет) с возможностью установки дополнительной плашки памяти и получения 16GB в итоге.
ASUS ZenBook 3 UX390UA (Яндекс.Маркет) по отзывам собран крайне плохо (вспоминаю свой горький опыт с текущим ноутбуком), с топовой моделью ASUS ZenBook Pro UX501VW (Яндекс.Маркет) та же история, но в плане железа он крайне привлекателен, сюда же ASUS Zenbook UX310UQ (Яндекс.Маркет).
В Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3" установлено устаревшее железо, но в плане цены он очень привлекателен (Яндекс.Маркет).
Еще как вариант DELL XPS 13 9360 и самая новая модель DELL XPS 13 9365 (Яндекс.Маркет, Яндекс.Маркет).
Также слышал о HP Spectre (Яндекс.Маркет), но не уверен в качестве сборки ноутбуков HP, поэтому особо не смотрел в сторону данной модели. Сюда же Lenovo Yoga 710 (Яндекс.Маркет), качество именно ThinkPad`ов вызывает гораздо больше доверия.

Dell (there are simpler configurations, there are also models without discrete graphics)
There are also xps, but their quality is lame, judging by the reviews.

Mac is an amateur. Many people don't like it. I strongly do not advise buying a Macbook without trying this OS.
If you are tied to some software under other operating systems (working with microcontrollers, etc.), then you may not be able to switch.
