PC not working?

On the PC is 7 and 10 Windows. 10 is covered, it is necessary to reinstall, but there is no time yet. I used 7. and then after the reboot, the OS selection menu disappeared and began to boot 10. It loads for a few minutes, then bsod and download again. the seven itself is not needed, but on the desktop with 7 there was a very important file
1) how to understand the seven where did it go? disappeared? or it is, the OS selection menu just disappeared
2) if 7 is covered, how to pull out the desired file?

C:\Users\username\Desktop - that's where it lies. Instead of "username" - the name of your user.
Just reinstall and don't worry, but to clear your conscience, check the SMART status of the hard drive, maybe there is a problem with it. Instructions are easy to google.

How long have I lived, I still can’t understand how Windows can “cover up” if the railway is in order?
