PayPal is dying in Russia?

I suddenly discovered that wildberry, lamoda and ozone stopped taking paypel. What's happening? What is the reason for this and is it worth expecting that soon there will be no place to spend paypel in Russia at all?

Was Paypal in the Russian Federation once more alive than all the living? I just can’t even remember which of the retailers accepted it right off the bat.
Moreover, who has this paypal? Only from someone who buys something over the hill.

He is not even very good in Europe.
Lives mostly in the USA.
In Russia, he has always been so-so.
Rather, it is an optimization.
I can say about us - over the past 10 years, we have had about 15 payments on the site for all these 10 years through PayPal. While we typically have 15 payments per day.
That is, it simply took up space and blurred the focus of the site's buyer - when you go to the payment page and see 100,500 options, you get lost and can refuse to purchase.
Updated once again - decided to stop supporting it.

Paypal itself is quite difficult to use, unlike Qiwi, etc. Plus commissions. So people don't use it. Since people don’t use it, then shops don’t need it either.
