Paypal: How to authorize a transaction for a long period with the possibility of debiting a larger amount?

Hello everyone
The business logic of the application (I act as an intermediary) assumes that the amount for which the service was sold can be recalculated and additionally charged within the next XX days from the date of the transaction.
(On an example - I calculate the so-called Shipping Label based on data from the user. It happens that the user makes a big mistake with the weight of the package and the carrier charges the amount more (and sometimes less) than it was originally calculated.
Tell me if there is any API mechanism / method to first authorize the transaction .. with the option to close it within the next XX days with an amount different from the amount of the transaction.
