Please explain what is the difference between payment gateways and aggregators?

Aggregators combine several payment gateways, providing you with one and taking a commission for it.
On the other hand, you can connect to several gateways yourself - and then you will not need the aggregator and you will not pay a commission to the aggregator.

At the initial stage, when the turnover is small, the possibility of accepting payments and convenience for the payer and conversion are important, and not the commission of payment systems.
Therefore, at the first stage we connect an aggregator, for example, Yandex cash desk,
then we connect acquiring for a card from a bank, for example, Tinkoff,
and then Paypal for foreign clients.
In general, everything depends on such parameters as: average check, monthly turnover, for which we accept payment, countries of buyers.
