There is a task to make it possible to pay for goods in an online store, but without going to intermediary sites, such as Robokassa and others.
Do I understand correctly that a payment gateway will solve my problem?

No, not right. The payment gateway is Robokassa, roughly speaking.
Do it without going somewhere to third-party resources... The easiest option is a frame built into the page of your site. The most difficult one is connecting your site directly to an acquiring bank that accepts Visa/MasterCard, with all the ensuing requirements of the PCI DSS standard.
