Part of the RAM is missing, what's the problem?

Previously, everything was fine, it showed about 7.46 GB available, but now, as if I have a 32-bit OS. What could be the problem, has anyone experienced this?

win+r>msconfig>boot>advanced options>uncheck "maximum memory"
reboot
