Paid upwork account - how are the days counted?
Guys, tell me please - I'm sitting on the upwork for the first month, merged all my connections, I want to buy a paid account - and I didn’t find information anywhere: if I have 10 days before accruing new connections on a free one, and now I’ll buy a paid one (my own + 10 connections ) - will I get new ones in 10 days? or again only in a month, when the paid one ends?

10 connections will be added to you, i.e. you can leave ~5 more applications under projects.
The resumption of connections will be in 2 weeks, i.e. you will be credited with 70 connections.
In your situation, I can now recommend two things.
First: install the application from upwork and just sit online for a couple of days. Very often, customers do not immediately respond, not immediately, but after 1-2 days. There is a difference in time zones + ordinary laziness + few applications for projects ... In general, a lot of factors. A couple of times I had a situation where in a couple of days I merged all the connections, there was complete silence, and then just a flurry ... As a result, you are either in a wild overhead or refuse some of the projects. And I emphasize that it is the application for the desktop, because. browser chat and a mobile application keep you online for 5-10 minutes, then throw it off. Yes, you will immediately receive a notification if there is a new message, but the customer will see you as "offline", and in my memory, clients first of all write to people who are available at the moment.
Second: register an agency on upwork and send applications on behalf of the agency. That's another 60 additional connections every month.
Don't do it like that, for a lot of connections without contracts you can easily get a ban.
You need to understand that instead of bidding correctly, you just want to burn more connections,
remember that in a month you will become a candidate for an eternal ban
, better learn how to bid correctly
