p440ar controller. The cache is permanently disabled. What is the reason?

There is a ProLiant DL360 Gen9 server with a p440ar controller on board.
Replaced the battery in the controller.
HP Smart Storage Administrator says the cache is permanently disabled.

I am attaching screenshots.

Exactly reseat - pull out and insert the cache module into place
