Own projects vs Main work and how not to break between them?

Hello.
I'm 21, I worked remotely as a web developer for about a year, now they are pulling me to move to the office to better organize the team. The work is promising in terms of salary and the projects are very interesting.
The other side is that I have been programming since I was 17, and in just 4 years I began to understand that I don’t like doing projects myself, I want to manage, advertising has become interesting, I have already gained some experience in it (work in social networks, context, target) . I know how to interact with people, I am drawn to management. But programming gets boring every day. I doubt that without the desire to program specifically, I can reach the level of senior or team lead.
I have a dream - to become free and independent from employers, to have my own business. Perhaps it is childish, but it is quite feasible.
And the forced transition to the office mentally fetters me. Why? On the one hand, you won’t be able to do a lot of your projects. On the other hand, psychological discomfort, because I want freedom and my project, but at the same time I go to the walls of the office, boss, deadlines. Yes, it’s all there remotely, but I perceive the office more painfully. I'm thinking about cutting everything off now and going into my projects. There is a financial cushion in the form of savings - enough for a year, if not earning at all.
Of course, you can work and do your projects in parallel. But it's hard for me. I start to work worse at my main job, irritation appears - as if all this is bothering me.
Who has life experience of similar situations - tell me please, what would you do here?

well @AnneSmith

for the 21st year, you are exceptionally purposeful, especially against the background of local "pros" who are bargaining whether or not to teach them the next CSS framework and expect to be nursed on every line
with your situation and age, you will always have time to go to the office, but, if you set yourself the goal of financial independence, and not professional growth as a programmer, then the office will in no way bring you closer to this goal, and in a year you will understand that you spent time on someone else's business, and not on your own
, now you have all the means for trying, age, unencumbered family obligations apparently, some experience, and most importantly - an understanding of what you like to work with
if it doesn't work out - go to the office :) it's not that it's hard to combine, but that you have already made a decision about what you really want
programming in itself is a rather primitive activity, if you do not entertain yourself with complex projects and a good salary, not everyone finds pleasure in it :)
the only thing you could go to the office for is to find out better how the business that interests you is run, and get connections there, but it turns out that you need to go here sooner into managers rather than programmers

Damn dude, you will have to decide for yourself what is more important for you in life -> we won’t decide for you and we won’t tell you. You have the opportunity to follow your dreams -> well, then follow, even if they are empty and unpromising. Take care of the implementation of what you have in mind, you must either succeed there, or get over the topic with your projects, and do what your uncle said (when you get over it, you will treat work differently).

Start your project. Chances are it won't work out enough.
But, on the other hand, sitting in the office and regretting all my life that I didn’t have the courage to try, this is even worse.
In terms of position, I've met a lot of great executives/bosses in companies who were terrible entrepreneurs in their own business.

The dream is feasible, but before it you first need to accumulate 10 thousand hours of practice. When you have dialed these hours, you will not ask such questions. You still have 10 years before your projects

I knew dozens of such "businessmen". Nothing will take off, a senior in the office will still get more if there is no big investment or a cool revolutionary idea (if TS had one, he would not ask this bad question here)

Your projects, this is your pension. Office work is your experience.

I myself work according to the scheme work + my projects.
I can only advise you to work remotely, it is unlikely that you will be able to combine the office and your own projects.
Considering that there is a financial cushion, it is best of course to try to go free swimming, if it does not work out, you will have time to return to the office anyway. And given your young age, your risks are minimal.

As a person who used to receive the average salary in the country from his projects, I will say this:
Your own project is good, but in the current situation, at the present time, it is completely useless. All the main ideas have already been implemented. To break through without VERY large investments is not realistic. The Internet is full of open source. Any student takes and installs a website for himself in 5 minutes with functionality that a pro will develop for 3-5 years!
What are you going to earn? On an ad? You will never make money from it. Not even enough for a beer.
Paying for website services? One you do not pull such a site:

Alex Mittelman, director of development at Avito, says that the cost of TV advertising is comparable to the cost of online promotion. Thus, the entire advertising budget of Avito in 2010 could exceed $4 million

More or less real option - to sell the finished product. For 5-10 years alone, you can write.
I have a dream - to become free and independent from employers, to have my own business
offline business. Seriously. competition is thousands of times lower.
PS. When local "businessmen" will assure that "wow, yes, cool, do your project" - ask at least one to show a project that brings real profit and was made less than 5 years ago by a single person.
well, comrades are talking about the same thing - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCD0q6vB1VM
