Overclocking a graphics card using the Catalyst Control Center?

Tell me, where can I look for sensible information on overclocking an ATI video card using the standard Catalyst Control Center utility?
And in general, does it make sense?

Of course, there is a sense in overclocking (just look at the tests on overclockers.ru). I don’t know about the regular utility, why not use MSI Afterburner ?

MSI Afterburner is a program from the creator of Riva Tuner - Alexey Nikolaychuk (Unwinder).

Does anyone know if Riva Tuner is still supported or has its development stopped?
