Organization of files in a torrent, convenient for future distribution updates?

How should files be organized in a torrent distribution if new directories will be added there in the future? Interested in minimizing traffic costs for those who already have a previous version of the torrent and want to upgrade. Maybe something else that I'm missing.

I know two ways to minimize these costs.

  1. Sort files and folders alphabetically when creating torrents; when updating, give files and folders names such that they are always added to the end of the list
  2. Set the size of the parts to be smaller

If there are others, I will time to find out about them.

I think it's worth explaining what you want to know. What does the previous version of a torrent mean? Want to create a distribution and gradually add files to it? so what's the problem?
