How to use BitTorrent Sync?

Hello. Please tell me how to use BitTorrent Sync correctly. It is necessary to synchronize data, say 2 or more PCs. One PC has enough disk space, the other does not.
Where will this data be stored?
Are there open peers? Well, for example, I have only one PC, and the data needs to be backed up, what should I do in this case?
Who is not too lazy, please tell us briefly about BitTorrent Sync, advantages and disadvantages, and is it worth switching to the Pro version?
Please do not post links like: "Let me look for you..."
Thank you very much in advance.

@zhogar

Where will this data be stored?

On those computers that were connected to the ball.
Find a second computer or server where these files will be synchronized.
BtSync is not a "cloudy black hole" that backs up data from all over the world on someone's computers. It is a file synchronization tool between trusted (configured) computers. The data is placed on them physically. While they are placed on them, they are duplicated. If one computer fails, data will remain on the second.
Only if you need more than 10 orb.
There can be many folders in one sphere.
Spheres are delimited by subject or to separate access, so that some people have access to one folder, and others to another.
Upd: I could be wrong, and the 10-ball limit for the Free Edition is no longer relevant.
The differences between Free and Pro are described here at the bottom of the page:

If you need any - any of the Pro features, then you need a Pro.
