Ordered PixelPerfect Layout for 1280 but dropped the 1366 layout, I didn't understand something?

More recently, he began to work on the web commercially. And now one of the customers ordered an adaptive layout of the site according to layouts. One of the PixelPerfect items. The layouts are divided into categories 1280, 1024 and 360. Naturally, I started with 1280, I open it, and there the width of the design is 1366. I didn’t understand something, or is the customer inadequate?

If the fields are not included, then the customer's mistake - tell him that there is no layout for 1280.
And you need to start layout from the mobile version.

The client is inadequate.
1366 is now much more relevant than 1280, so the designer was not mistaken here.
If the layout allows, stretch some elements up to 1366, having previously discussed this moment with the customer.
ps about "you need to start layout from the mobile version": this will only work if the site prototype is built correctly and all changes to the mobile->desktop are thought out at the design stage and make sense.
