Oracle VirtualBox vs. Sun VirtualBox?

Purely subjective observation.
Ever since VirtualBox came out of Oracle, it's gotten buggier and bugger with every release.
Having installed version 3.1, from 2010, I can't get enough of it.
What's going on with VirtualBox, or am I being overly biased?

And what became worse or more buggy, it seems like before it launches virtual machines, nothing much has changed
