Operating system problem?

The story is this, I inserted the RAM (DDR1) into the slot and didn’t finish it on one side, the computer started up but there was no image, climbed to the bar, and it warmed up, rearranged the computer correctly, started unwinding and stopping the cooler, changed the bar to another, everything started, memtest did not detect errors, but the computer cuts in every once in a while, gives out a blue screen, or even squeaks that there is a problem with the RAM. Could I set fire to something on the motherboard? Or is it a defective bar (I took it used)?

It could set fire, the bar could be defective. Try another slot.
And the mother herself is far from necessarily working, the same conders can be exaggerated.
