OpenXenManager "Authentication failure" - how to fix?
Raised Xen Cloud Platform 1.6 on Ubuntu Server 13.10 x64.
Now I'm trying to manage the hypervisor through OpenXenManager. The connection parameters are working, the command xe -s 127.0.0.1 -u root -pw password vm-list
is working.
OpenXenManager throws an "Authentication failure" error.
Tried editing /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp: (xen-api-server ((9363 pam 'localhost') (unix))). After I tried to connect to 80, 443, 9363 ports. There is no result.
XCP and OpenXenManger are installed on the same machine. In addition to OpenXenManger, XenWebManager and the PHP-xenapi library give the same error

found a solution:
1) the /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp file does not need to be changed
2) the line should be uncommented in the /etc/pam.d/xapi file
3) create a xapiman user and add it to the xapi group
4) start OpenXenManager and connect to XCP as xapiman
