Online viewing of series in the AppStore, the legal side of the issue?
I made an application for one of the online TV series viewing services (I will not advertise for which one). The series, of course, are spliced and translated illegally. There is a desire to try to publish in the post-Soviet AppStore, so I'm worried about the legal side of the issue and possible problems with the copyright holder of the content.
Of course, there is a high probability that the application will not be allowed there, but now there are a lot of applications for watching videos and listening to music from the same VKontakte, etc., which also does not shine with legality. Therefore, we will look at this question optimistically, but I will still ask the question: Maybe someone had experience in publishing applications of a similar orientation (for example, the same music from VKontakte), how do censors feel about this?
Well, the second, more exciting question for me.
What happens if the copyright holder decides to make any claims against the application? The optimistic option is to remove the application from the store, I would be fine with it. How to protect yourself from the pessimistic option - filing lawsuits against me as a developer? Or is it something completely beyond fantasy in the current realities? My application does not store any content, it only allows you to stream video online.
Thanks for the good advice and thoughts.

And what questions do you have if, in fact, you are making an app-mobile shell for the “left” site? Or are you the site owner?
Google Play removed my app the first time I complained about content from a copyright holder (or competitor)
It seems to me that your application will not even be allowed in the app store.
There is such an experience ... If you are interested, I can give links to applications. It's been almost a year in the App Store, everything works as it should. He offered the content owner to buy the application :) He promised to sue me, but apparently changed his mind.
