Online store engine (php), with a full REST API?

By full-fledged, I mean the implementation of a rather client-side part (that is, so that you can eventually purchase a product through REST).
So far, only magento and prestaShop have been found from stores with an API. The first REST is poor, the second is too admin-oriented.

Have you considered a SaaS solution as an option? Specifically Shopify .

What didn't you like about Magento? exactly what is missing? functionality can be easily extended
