Will the online collaborative filtering service be in demand?

The main difference from the existing ones is that the service provides only algorithms and computing power, while the data is provided by the user.

How it might look like:

• The user creates a data file in the form {User: {Subject: Rating}} (or maybe {Subject: Text}) or in some way tells the server where to get them
• Uploads a file to the server or the server uploads them itself
• The server uses various algorithms to get advice, similarity of objects, compares algorithms, displays the accuracy of calculations, combines algorithms
• The user receives the result (via API or file)

Or perhaps something like this already exists? other than Google Prediction API

I don't think it will be in demand. They prefer to write this on their own, and no one will want to voluntarily merge their data to an unknown person.
