On which drive should grub be installed when installing ubuntu?
Good afternoon.
I was given a laptop at work, it has two disks, ssd and hdd.
Windows on the first disk. I worked for a couple of months and installed on the second disk hdd ubuntu.
The grub bootloader installed on the same disk as ubuntu.
And I got a problem.
In the BIOS, there was no disk with ubuntu, only the one with Windows.
The forums suggested that the ubuntu grab loader should be on the disk with Windows.
Now I decided to swap systems.
Right now I'm installing Windows on a hdd disk, and when I install Ubuntu on ssd, where should I put the grab loader?
Thanks in advance.

There, where the Windows bootloader, the hornbeam will overwrite it and there will be Windows in the hornbeam menu along with the tench.
But if you then reinstall Windows, then it will overwrite the hornbeam.
War :)
If I put a hornbeam on a separate disk, then from the BIOS you can then control the boot, or by Fn + F12, my disks are visible there.
