On which blockchain to host NFTs in OpenSea?
Is there a fundamental difference between an Ethereum token and a Polygon token from a buyer's point of view? I see that most of the tokens are issued on the Polygon, but more transactions are carried out on Ethereum. Is it related to the resale of old tokens or is the Polygon less interesting for buyers?

ether is considered more solid among traders. because there are a lot of scammers at the training ground. about commissions. above you have not correctly written. everything is free at the range, yes. on Ethereum, you will have to pay when creating the first work for a smart contract. the price depends on the time of day. I paid about $120. Further. You will NOT have to pay for the exhibiting of each work. if you exhibit through buy now, in the usual way in general (not by auction). BUT you will have to pay for the transfer if you decide to send your work to someone for free.
There are more tokens at the landfill, because there is no commission for their placement. Of course, place it at the Test Site - why are you an enemy to yourself or what? If your works have artistic value, they will already be bought, and the commission for minting and placement on the pension when choosing the Polygon network will appear sooner or later anyway - you need to use it while they give it for free.
