On a dedicated (physical) server, you need a virtual machine, perhaps?
There is a server:
FreeBSD 9.2
CPU Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3210 @ 2.13GHz (2133.45-MHz K8-class)
old software is spinning, I don't want to touch it, because it works.
you need to raise a ready-made image of centos with new software there, there is a white ip, it is parked.
Is it possible to raise XEN there or something else?
give something to read worthy of attention, to solve this problem.
Thanks

=D !!!
Upgrade to 10 or the upcoming 11, set up BHyVe and run CentOS inside it.
It is also possible to run Linux inside the standard FreeBSD Jail.
To my great regret (after all, I worked on it for 15 years) - there is no normal Dom0 support in FreeBSD. Normal means either XEN or KVM. FreeBSD does not know how to be a host. Here in 10.0, for some reason, they came up with their own hyper level Dom0 instead of adding support for something standard. Therefore, I would install VirtualBox. Not because I love him, but simply because there is nothing else - I somehow don’t really believe in the stability of BHyVe.
