Broadcasting audio over a radio network?

The enterprise has a radio network consisting of a repeater amplifier and loudspeakers connected to it through cross-connects. A FreeBSD 9 server is connected to the amplifier, which sometimes plays pre-recorded and downloaded messages on a schedule. What are the possible solutions that will allow connecting to the server from the network through a browser / client program to broadcast an audio stream through it in real time?

  • pulseaudio - transmits an audio stream, looks like an audio device from the system's point of view
  • sip - "telephone" protocol, VoIP call
  • webrtc - "telephone" protocol, calling through a browser
  • vlc player. can be controlled via the web interface, can broadcast the stream over the network.
