On a computer, USB fails from time to time. How to check what is wrong?
USB ports on my computer started to turn off, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't work. I can not work for a week, then they work again for a couple of days or a couple of hours and again an ambush.
I have 3 options:
1. Virus
2. Hardware
The mouse changed and everything was empty, and wired and wireless does not work.
How to check whether this is hardware or a software glitch?
Tried going into safe mode, didn't help either.

It could be anything. Problems with drivers or the operating system, viruses, overheating, a cracked motherboard, a buggy connector, and even problems with the power supply. To get started, open the device manager and see what is written there at a time when they are not working. If they fall off during operation, mark the time when this happens and look in the system log what happened at that time.
You can run iron tests and update drivers. Monitor temperature.
