OMXplayer (Raspberry Pi, Raspbian): how to control via scripts?

Good day!
I am setting up an interactive TV based on Raspberry. Installed OMXplayer, no problems with video playback. We need a script that will start the video on pressing a button on the Raspberry, or on a signal from the arduino serial port. It's also great to have a break.
