Olympiad programming at the end of the 10th grade - is it too late?

I am eager to take at least a prize-winner in the I or II level Olympiad in the 11th grade, but I doubt the feasibility of this goal: I still have enough strength for the school stage and some tasks of the municipality and the region of the VOSh in informatics. I have a good command of Python 3 and C++, but I don't really understand the typical topics of Olympiad programming, be it graphs, geometry, combinatorics or modeling.
If necessary, I am ready to devote a lot of free time to self-training (because I really like it), and from September I will attend a school circle for OP.

Late? And the devil only knows, we here have no idea how quickly you perceive new information.
