OLED laptop - is it worth it?
I choose a laptop, and for 1001 reasons the choice fell on the only variant - a dell xps 7590 with a gtx1650, a glossy screen and a fucking OLED matrix.
Questions began from the moment I found out that the display has PWM at the shameful 60 hertz. But ok, it seems that PWM is not noticeable, judging by the reviews. A more serious problem was revealed, namely with the OLED technology itself - they say, the display quickly burns out and phantom images remain.
And it seems like everyone has been aware of these problems for a long time, and many manufacturers have curtailed experiments with OLED, but for some reason we see a fresh, crispy laptop model from the great Dell with a dubious OLED display on the market today.
In general, everything is as bad there as they say on the Internet, or has something changed? Maybe the manufacturers have somehow learned how to screensave their matrices? Or is there still no hope and should such displays be avoided if the laptop is taken for serious work?

ips displays from Sharp and Samsung are almost as good, there was already one Dell of this line, when turned on, the matrix displayed only part of the image, a couple of on / off and returned to normal. So this is another reason to consider alternative options, for example, Alienware m15, ips and it will be possible to change it in case of damage for more or less sane money. Oled will cost 50 percent of the initial cost of the laptop
