Not showing any computers from the domain when configuring WSUS?
Hello everyone)
(I say right away, I’m doing this task for the first time, I did it according to instructions from the Internet, maybe I missed something, but I didn’t do something at all, so I ask you to be understanding and help if possible)
The thing is, I installed it means the role WSUS on a separate server. It seems that I figured out the policy and the internal settings of the WSUS console, and the synchronization was successful), but with all this, even one computer is not visible in the console.
I provide screenshots of the work done.
In general, something like this.
If you need something additional for analysis, then I will provide the necessary material)
Thank you for understanding)

Why do you have backslashes in addresses? the only place they are used is in paths in the Windows file system
synchronization was successful), but with all this, even one computer is not visibleSynchronization is the receipt of updates from an upstream server or from an MS server. It has nothing to do with client computers.
It is often necessary to push the WSUS agent to check for available updates and install immediately. I use the simple wuauclt /detecnow command for this. From here .
I'll try to explain on the basis of Win 2003 Server, which is a domain controller... (for 2008 the settings won't differ much...)
Create some kind of policy or use an existing one. We enter the mode of changing it - then "Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows Update"
In the "Specify service location ..." option, the NS-name of the server running WSUS must be specified!
This should be enough! And of course, on computers for which this policy applies, automatic updates must be enabled ...
I configured WSUS according to this manual - there were no problems, so we read carefully.
