Non-standard fonts for the site
The customer asks to make some blocks on the site with non-standard fonts. I started to study this issue. Of the options - @font-face (through the @font-face Generator service, for example), Google Font API, and pictures (with alt-signatures) - the old fashioned way.
What can you advise to use? I must say right away that there is not much text - blocks of links. And how do mobile devices react to these methods (@font-face and Google Font, everything is clear with pictures)?

Better Google Font API. Good CDN, no need to think about connection options for compatibility with different browsers, generated code - all that remains is to insert a line.
Fonts will be displayed in all modern browsers (except perhaps Opera Mini - I don’t know how things are with fonts there). If you don't need full support for IE 6 and Firefox 1, you can use them.
maybe, it makes sense to highlight link blocks not with fonts, but with design through CSS
I don't understand what is the problem? Why does the generator not suit the same fontface?
Provide an alternative for those users who will not be delighted with the creativity of the customer. Is the font very non-standard or is it included in the basic OS distribution?
