Non-obvious h1 tag behavior over bxSlider in Chrome?

Problem: the text of the h1 tag ( UPD: any tag with a font size > 24px in styles) when changing slides (animating the opacity property) starts jumping and moving apart. Noticeably strong.

Data:
- Windows 7 32bit
- Chrome 31
- Plugins jquery, bxslider

Additionally: this behavior was not observed in other browsers.

PS: lately I have to write hacks for Chrome more and more :(

UPD: all webkit browsers behave this way.

Font smoothing doesn't work with animations (at least on win)
