No home partition, need to restore?

There was a root and it was home on another computer .. I installed a clean ubuntu on a laptop, made a backup copy of the entire system from the computer, restored it on the laptop. Changed the UUID for disks and restored grub.. Now I can't log in as a user, the home partition is missing

"Since I did not transfer / home, the system cursed that I, as a user, exist, but I don’t have a home folder. I acted in a barbaric way - userdel % username%, and then adduser %username%. "
and in general look at the article
there are still answers to many questions,
although after the backup I roll over from the boot without format and all the programs are picked up
