How to install watir under ubuntu 9.10?

In the post about watir habrahabr.ru/blogs/ruby/109835/ there is a link to the manual
wiki.openqa.org/display/WTR/FireWatir+Installation...
but the instruction seems to be under Debiant
I tried the command: sudo apt-get install firewatir
reports: Could not find the firewatir package Please tell me
how to install watir

Thank you! The problem turned out to be in the ruby version, watir works with 1.8.6
Now the task is to roll back the version, as it is not clear yet :)
