How to recover a completely formatted disk?

The hard drive was accidentally formatted along with the correct ntfs partition. How to recover this partition?
Does ubuntu liveCD 10.04 have utilities to do this?

Under Windows, R-Studio saved more than once, although it is paid, but it's up to you to decide where to get it

www.softportal.com/getsoft-2534-active-file-recove... - it's just a thing to restore everything to the last! Saved me! I can’t say about the ipod, but it should work! Rest assured!
