How to solve "Installation failed: Failed to create directory" when trying to install a wordpress plugin?
Today is clearly not my day, one mistake after another.
I'm trying to install a backup plugin, I set a password for the ftp site and I get an error.
Damn, I just don't get it.
I'm working on a local server and the plugin asks for an ftp password.
Now I have set a password and data, like the plugin is installed, when transferred to the server, the plugin, in theory, should also work.
What about the "failed to create folder" error?
I moved the site to my home directory in the sites folder.
I set permissions for files and folders to 755.
What
is the cause of the error?
Thanks in advance.

everything is simpler there - in the configuration file ( wp-config ) write thisdefine(‘FS_METHOD’, ‘direct’);
yeah .. I also killed myself solving this problem .. then it turned out that the disk quota on the server was exceeded .. )
