No connection to VPN servers

There was a problem. I live now in Denmark and here in many places it is very difficult with the Internet. In terms of the fact that many ports are blocked and traffic is filtered. For example, you can’t download torrents, play online games and go to steam.

I wanted to forward the connection through the VPN, but, alas, there is no connection to any server or client. It is possible to connect via 3.5G mobile Internet via phone. There are no problems, except that the ping is very high. To VPN there too quietly connects.

It is very hard for me to believe that a VPN connection can somehow be blocked. Any ideas what's the problem?

Well, as it were, if the default port (VPN) is cut by the provider (namely the port, not DPI), then we take our server for 5 bucks a month in Digital Ocean (in Amsterdam DC) and raise our vpn there. Here is a detailed instruction .

VPNs can also be easily blocked by simply closing the port.

Are there any VPNs that are not expensive. Are they located in Denmark or not far from it, and that the connection goes through ports 80 or 443?
Well, and accordingly, so that the ports for steam / torrents are not closed in the VPN.

Basically all ports were TCP 1194. Reliably checked that VPN connects on 80 and 443 ports. It would be necessary to find such servers. From what was on port 443, this is a VPN, on which everything is also closed. :(

It often happens that the MTU on the network card or router is too small for the VPN wrapper to fit into it. But since the connection goes through on other ports, this is probably not your case.

I would ask the operator what are the reasons for blocking the same VPN.
because sometimes you need to connect to work remotely.

We have one branch in Muhosransk. There, the provider closed the UDP ports (and we seem to use 1194). We had to set up a single VPN channel using TCP.
